We only spent one night in Austria, namely in Illmitz on the Neusiedler Lake. This part of Austria is not mountainous at all, so we had a fairly easy ride except for some really strong headwinds. However, these sudden southerly winds also brought warm air with them, so with temperatures around 18°C, winter was thankfully postponed yet again.
